Meet Dr. Tiu

Dr. Michael Tiu earned both his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of British Columbia, graduating in 1992. After practicing in Fort Nelson, BC for two years, he established his private practice in Burnaby in 1994 at the Old Orchard Shopping Centre. To accommodate his growing patient family, he custom-built and relocated to our current modern clinic on Royal Oak Avenue in 2018.

Dedicated to providing personalized care, Dr. Tiu is personally involved in every phase of his patients' dental health. He is committed to continuous learning and is an active member of several professional study clubs focusing on Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics, Dental Implants, and Orthodontics. To ensure the highest standard of care, he collaborates closely with a trusted network of local dental specialists for specialized treatments.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tiu is a long-time Burnaby resident. He is happily married and has two sons who are currently pursuing their university education.
